Biography

Titus Chinedu Egbosiuba is a faculty member at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra Nigeria. He obtained a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria where he conducted research on the synthesis of carbon nanotubes using activated carbon support and multifunctional activation of the carbon nanotubes for the removal of selected heavy metals pollutants from wastewater. He has widely conducted cutting edge research on the green synthesis of nanoparticles using different extracts for the treatment of contaminated wastewater and catalytic enhanced pyrolysis of agricultural waste. In the recent times, he is conducting research on the synthesis of nanomaterials and hybrid nanomaterials as an electrode material in supercapacitor applications. He has taught Chemical Engineering mass transfer, experimental techniques, separation processes, data analysis and process control to both undergraduate and graduate students. He was the immediate past postgraduate coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra Nigeria. Presently, he is a research scholar in the department of Chemical Engineering, Texas A&M University College Station, Texas. He has coauthored several peer reviewed papers, book chapters and reviewed several manuscripts in high impact factor journals.
