Jianhui Liu received the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in China. He then did the Ph.D. study at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) under Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), followed by a short Post-doctoral Fellow appointment. He is now a Post-doctoral Fellow at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) and Forsyth Institute in the USA. His research interests lie in materials chemistry, nanotechnology, self-assembly, bio-inspired materials and polymer science.
