Biography

Saif (1979) had a background in Nanotechnology and an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology), Islamabad Pakistan. He had developed novel synthesis and fabrication process of Nanosheets/Thin films (2D), Nanoparticles and Quantum dots (OD), Nanorods and Nanowires (1D), Nano-composites and Hybrid structured materials for investigating Structural and Morphological, Electronic, Magnetic, Electro-chemical Optical, Electrical, Dielectrics, Ferroelectrics and Multiferroics properties. He had published 04 book chapters, 48 publications in peer review prominent and well reputed international journals publishers such as Nature, IoP, APS, ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Springer, and MDPI. His research work had been cited >1100 times on Google Scholar (h-Index: 19). He had secured 145Million PKR research grants and around 2450 Million PKR grants are submitted in various national/international agencies (e.g. HEC, MoST, USAID, KOICA etc). Saif has extensively travelled the world, presenting his research at top-tier venues and delivering dozens of national and international talks in countries such USA, Italy, Singapore, Belarus, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Spain. Furthermore, he has presented his research work as an invited speaker at more than 20 international conferences.
